I began my professional journey as a trainee under Mr. Raghu Babu Gunturu in 2020. When Mr. Raghu Babu established SimplyBiz, I was fortunate to join him and become a part of his vision for growth and development, not only for himself but also for his team. I am truly grateful to be one of the initial employees of SimplyBiz. Over the course of my tenure, including the training period, I have gained a total of 3.5 years of valuable experience.
During my time here, I have had the chance to work on many significant assignments, which helped me learn from the ground up. I joined Mr. Raghu as a Company Secretary (CS) Trainee in 2019, and when he founded SimplyBiz in 2022, I was privileged to be one of the initial employees to join the venture. With 3 years of experience as a qualified Company Secretary, my journey with this organization has been nothing short of extraordinary. My learning curve has consistently risen, fueled by client-centric and diligence-ready approach to executing tasks. Currently, I am part of Team SimplyCorp, serving as an Engagement Manager also overseeing executives in training. My association with Mr. Raghu began in 2017 and when he started SimplyBiz in 2022, I was among the initial employees to move to SimplyBiz. I have an experience of around 10 years which includes 3 years of working experience in listed companies. When I joined SimplyBiz, I was a mother to 2.5years old kid and hence was provided flexibility of working from home.
SimplyBiz is among very few companies which recognizes talent and provides flexibilities to women employees especially new mothers so that they can balance their personal and professional obligations. Now, I am mother to two kids and still working with SimplyBiz from home.
In my earlier stints, I was handling corporate secretarial compliances for private and listed companies and because of the independence provided to me in dealing with the clients, I had gained immense knowledge and exposure on that front. I also had a team whom I have groomed and handling these work became my comfort zone.
I never thought that I would be able to provide transaction advisory services including legal advisory and legal drafting. But Raghu sir saw that in me, which even I was unaware, and he motivated me to move out of my comfort zone and explore transaction advisory and legal drafting vertical. Today, I can confidently say that I can handle transaction advisory services comfortably.

I joined SimplyBiz in April 2022. I have worked at various levels of Finance & Accounting Division during my 30 years of career. In Simplybiz, I am heading the Finance & Accounting function and I am supported by a team of few more people. During my short stint with SimplyBiz, I can say that it was one of the most dynamic experiences. The organization has a very friendly culture, it is technologically very advanced. As trainees, we are able to connect the dots of academic knowledge with the practical world.
The Seniors were extremely helpful and patient. They allowed me to make mistakes so that I could learn from them. Their guidance made learning fun and made my concepts clear. It was the perfect blend of motivation and learning. Everyone in the organization was literally just one call away and never refrained from helping.
The Bangalore team is a small team and we focused on completing the tasks with predetermined & clear timelines. I had the exposure to the varied corporate secretarial activities and the exposure was end to end. It’s been a wonderful experience working with this team. I am surprised that two (2) years have passed so quickly since I joined. The culture of this organization is unique which gave me the liberty and the opportunity to explore myself in the profession. The best part of the organization is that we gain a lot of knowledge by engaging with seniors and the peers through various knowledge sharing sessions. Irrespective of the role & designation, everyone is treated at par. Every member is so supportive and helps each other when required.
When it comes to the team I was a part of, it was a small one headed by a Team Lead and supported by Trainees and Associates. We as a team focus more on execution of assignments due to which I got diverse exposure apart from regular secretarial compliances. My seniors helped me in learning how to approach work which helped me gain a research centric approach.
