Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented finance professional to join our
team as an Assistant Manager – Financial Operations. The ideal candidate will have
strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial finalization, taxation compliance
(Income Tax, TDS, GST), Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, MIS reporting, cash flow
management, and payroll compliance. The role involves managing multiple accounting
functions, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting key financial operations
across clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping & Accounting
• Maintain and update accurate financial records in line with accounting
standards.
• Finalize year-end financial statements and support audit requirements.
• Execute Record-to-Report (R2R) processes ensuring completeness from
transaction recording to reporting.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycles including
invoice processing and collections.
• Prepare and analyze MIS reports with insights on financial performance and
variances.
• Prepare, review, and analyze cash flow reports to support liquidity and
forecasting.
2. Taxation Compliance
• Prepare and file Income Tax returns for companies.
• Accurately compute Income Tax liabilities ensuring optimal tax planning.
• Prepare and file TDS returns with proper reconciliation to government records.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) monthly or quarterly.
• Prepare and file GST Annual Returns (GSTR-9).
• Draft responses for TDS and Income Tax notices and coordinate with authorities.
• Stay updated with changes in Income Tax, GST, and other compliance laws.
3. Payroll Compliance
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing including salary calculations,
incentives, and statutory deductions.
• Ensure statutory compliance for EPF, ESI, PT, and related payroll regulations.
• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual returns for PF, ESI, and PT.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• CA or Semi-qualified CA with 1–2 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of Income Tax Act, GST laws, TDS provisions, and payroll
compliance.
• Experience in R2R cycles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and finalization of
accounts.
• Proven ability to prepare and interpret MIS reports and cash flow statements.
• Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP tools such as Tally, Zoho Books,
etc.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, analytical functions).
• Good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong accuracy, analytical ability, and adherence to timelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience handling multiple clients or diverse business environments is
preferred.
